SUMMARY

The Lake Chelan Reclamation District is seeking a qualified electrical engineering consulting firm to specify two (2) 275kW mobile generators, provide electrical design plans for upgrades needed to connect the proposed generators to municipal pumping plants, assist in preparing the bid documents to select a qualified electrical contractor for installation of the upgrades, and provide construction quality control services.

Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) will be evaluated based on the firm’s experience with projects of this type in similar environments, and the quality and breadth of the approach proposed to complete the work. Interested firms should submit the following parts:

Qualifications Statement. The submittal shall include:

  1. RFQ Title
  2. Proposer's name, mailing address, physical address, contact person, telephone, and email.
  3. General statement of the understanding of the scope of services.
  4. An organization chart for the project team.
  5. The project team’s experience in preparing contract documents and construction quality control for selection and installation of standby generators.
  6. If and any familiarity with LCRD’s current facilities.
  7. Availability to begin this project.

Statements of Qualifications, prepared according to the following detailed instructions, must be

received at the address below no later than 4:00 p.m. Pacific Standard Time, Friday,

June 12th, 2020. No postmarks will be accepted.
